Hi, welcome to Dusk2Dawn Farm. My name is Amanda Hellums. I live in Middleton Idaho. I am involved with 4-H and FFA. I have been involved with animals since I was two years old. I started with my first two does, Trinity, who passed on a few years ago, and Beauti, who we sold two years ago. They were both Alpines. In March of 2007, my showmanship doe, Sunni, was born. I still don't know why I chose Sunni, but obiviously there was something special about her. Sunni is starting to get old and I dread the day that I find my baby has moved on. She is the best possible doe I could ask for as a showmanship doe. In 2007, I got my first Oberhaslis, Tutelu Xola and Heavens Hollow 'Nvy, at the ADGA Nationals in Gillette, Wyoming. I got my first Nubian, Thunder-Ridge EllieBeeGood, from Kim Williams. In 2009, I got my first Boer goat. His name was Acro, short for Acrobat, because he used to jump on his mother. He was a wether I was planning to sell at the Canyon County Fair. I got my first LaMancha several years ago, Thunder-Ridge River Willow from Kim Williams. My Alpine, Boer, and Nubian herds have grown, although I am cutting down on my Nubians, my Oberhaslis have gone to my Grandmother's herd; and my Lamancha herd has grown as well.
